2005 WACMC receives Milwaukee Foundation/Nonprofit Management Fund Grant to develop a business plan for the organization.. 

2005 WACMC producers are honored with a total of 14 awards, including 5 Excellence Awards, at the 7th annual WAPC Video Festival.

2005 WACMC hosts its first annual Chicken Dinner & Polka Party Fundraiser at historic Tanner Paull in downtown West Allis – raising $1,600 for the WACMC.

2005 WACMC serves as a judging site for both the WAPC and ACM Hometown Video Awards.
 
2005 WACMC organizes and hosts a documentary film workshop, featuring University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee Film Professor Rob Danielson. Eighteen WACMC producers attend the workshop.

2005 Milwaukee Public Policy Forum honors the New Berlin Police Dept.’s monthly program “Mission Possible,” produced by Lt. Mike Glider and Lt. Phil Kiedrowski, for quality of content and production techniques. 
 
2005 WACMC hosts its annual Summer Youth Media Camp.  Over a two-week period, West Allis students from both public and private schools learn the basics of video production.

2005 The WACMC-produced program “Portraits & Promises” welcomes representatives from various local & state representatives.      

2005 WACMC participates in the 15th Annual West Allis Classic Car Show sponsored by the Downtown Business Improvement District.  WACMC staff and volunteers distribute information about the community media center to passersby and hold a prize drawing.

2005 WACMC hosts its second annual Craft Fair and Bake Sale during the Downtown Business Improvement District Holiday Stroll with proceeds benefiting the WACMC. 

2005 WACMC produces two “Live Santa Call-in” shows, which give the good boys and girls in West Allis the opportunity to tell the North Pole’s most famous resident what they want for Christmas.

2005 WACMC Facilities Committee produces a series of public service announcements on cable contract renegotiation and encourages WACMC volunteers to write letters to members of the West Allis License and Health Committee in support of continued and increased funding for the WACMC.
